Between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Le Levant will take you to a rosary of sparkling islands, close in proximity, but quite different in character. Here you will see the delicate white hem of a long beach of fine white sand, there the abundant exuberance of blossoming nature; but all is pervaded by the fragrant scents of spice and perfumes of fruit, carried on the gentle trade winds...Embark at Pointe à Pitre and set course southwards beneath the starry night sky of tropics, towards St Lucia. By dawn, Le Levant is moored at the foot of the volcanic pitons rising from an undulating mass of palm trees : the Pirates of the Caribbean can't be far off ! At dinner time, we sail for Guadeloupe and its satellite islands : the round Marie Galante, a vast sugar plantation, and the idyllic islets of the Saintes. Set sail for Antigua, the isle of 365 beaches as it is known, and Anguilla, "the eel", thin and flat, which is nothing but a huge beach. Virgin Gorda will amaze you with her enormous and chaotic granite boulders, eroded to a polish, which protect tiny natural pools, the Baths. Jost van Dycke, the pearl of the British Virgin Islands, marks the farthest point of this itinerary. From here, Le Levant retraces her steps via Saint Barthelemy, the tropical paradise of the French Antilles, this magical itinerary is a dream come true.
