Without doubt one of the most astounding itineraries in the world is on offer on board Le Diamant. Here, the cordillera of the Andes, the back of the dragon, tapers off like a comma leaving a dotted line in the cold waters of South Pacific, creating a network of islands, archipelagos, channels and winding fjords, in a landscape of snowy peaks, bursting rivers, majestic glaciers, sheers cliffs and deep forests. The great condor flies past the albatross in the skies above the national park of Torres del Paine, near Puerto Natales. From Cape Horn to Puerto Montt, from Valparaiso to the Beagle Channel, Le Diamant threads her way, her journey illuminated by the writings of the great Chilean writer, Francisco Coloane who expresses better than anyone, the fascination of the Magellan Straits.
